Yesterday, Caleb + I celebrated 2 years of dating : ) I guess, come August 23rd of this year, this whole “anniversary” thing will start over!! But today, in celebration of our journey together thus far, I thought I would share 10 things about Caleb that you may not know : ) Enjoy!

1. Caleb + I met at Madison through Campus Crusade for Christ; we were both interested in music + photography + bonded over these common interests. Before we started dating (May 04, 2012), Caleb took my dad out to lunch, shared with him his intentions in dating me + asked if it would be okay for him to ask me to be his girlfriend. (Thanks for saying yes, dad!!!)
2. He used to play the saxophone, + according to his Grandma Shirley, he was pretty dang good at it ; )
3. He has a slight (ha!) obsession with Sperry boat shoes + Levi’s jeans.
4. He is the oldest of three kids–James is 22 + Tori is 20.
5. Another obsession is guitars. Especially Fender Telecasters. It is his dream to someday own a 1989 40th Anniversary Telecaster (he was born in 1989!!)
6. My favorite date we’ve ever been on took place at an old dam outside of Caleb’s hometown. We drove out to what seemed like the middle of nowhere, pulled off into a spot in the woods + walked down a path to the edge of the river. He had lit hundreds of candles that were placed out on rocks in the water + had a blanket + one of my favorite bottles of wine. While the water rushed like a waterfall from the dam to our right, it continued on to flow peacefully down the river to our left. The moonlight, candlelight + Caleb’s company made for one of the most romantic experiences I’ve ever had!
7. He’s an avid watcher of HGTV.
8. He will never pass up an opportunity to go to Chipotle; he will also never, EVER share a bag of chips with you ; )
9. Last obsession is dogs. All dogs … any dog. One time, over an intimate dinner when we were sharing our top 3 favorite things about each other, he may have said “I just love that you love dogs” as one of his top three favorite things about me.
10. He is a man of great faithfulness + integrity. And gosh, I am just so, SO thankful for him : )
