Hellloooo, Miss Alexa!! Today’s senior session features a girl who is creative, fervent, + bears both amazing dimples + an incredible smile : ) Our time together was definitely one for the books as Alexa, her mom, her sister + I got caught in a downpour as we were shooting in the middle of the forest with no place to take refuge except under the reflector I had brought along with me!! And Marsha (Alexa’s mom) didn’t even get to stay dry as she ran to go save Alexa’s art from getting ruined in the rain–yes, she literally laid on top of Alexa’s canvases to keep them dry!! Let’s just say, there was LOTS of laughter when all was said + done!! And nothing got wrecked! Go Marsha!! Thankfully we were just finishing up this portion of the shoot so that Alexa was able to go home + quick freshen up a bit before we continued shooting downtown : ) …by the way, we still don’t know where that storm came from!?

Miss Alexa is going to be a senior at Waupaca High School + is passionately involved in both Art Club + The Green Team (an environmental group at her school).“Whenever I have a free second, I’m creating something.”  … (me too, Alexa, me too)!! : ) She is a very talented young woman with dreams of pursuing her passion for art at the University of Wisconsin-Madison next year. I know I (along with her sister who is currently a student at the UW) would love to have Alexa join us in this most amazing city next fall!! Wherever life takes her, she is bound to find happiness + success : )
