Andy + Abby | Married | A Fox Cities Cathedral Wedding.

August 9, 2014

Andy + Abby started dating their junior year of high school–so here we have it, another set of high school sweet hearts on the blog today!! I swear at least half of our clients are high school sweethearts! I’m not quite sure how we attracted this type of client, or if it’s just a coincidence?!, but I am not complaining!! There is something so unique + beautiful about the love of high school sweethearts. They have already been through so many phases of life together … awkward high school years, figuring out who you are + who you want to be, the transition to college–oftentimes long distance, deciding what career you want to pursue + figuring out your future … together … that when the wedding day finally arrives, there has been SO much anticipation + emotional investment + preparation for the day, nothing else really compares!! Andy + Abby were no exception : )

Both, though filled with the “typical” wedding day jitters, were down deep, calm + ready. It was time to finally be together. A + A had been long distance as Abby was teaching in Chicago + Andy teaching in Wisconsin (both teachers–how cute, right?!), + the wedding day meant their lives finally got to sync + become one as husband + wife. Man can I relate!! No more long phone calls, endless texts, terrible goodbyes, + challenges that arise from simply having to do life apart. As Caleb + I spent time with them individually before the ceremony, we both could sense just how ready they were for this next step of life together. It felt so natural.

The day played out beautifully–from Abby’s amazing details to Andy surprising her at the ceremony with the most BEAUTIFUL solo (he is a music teacher by the way!!) to one ROCKIN’ band at the reception–it was a blast!! It was another huge wedding with over 300 guests all gathered to celebrate the coming together of these two lives. (And cue the joke that the world doesn’t need ANOTHER Vosters–Andy’s last name is Vosters + apparently he has a HUGE family)!! But man, it sure does need another Vosters : ) I can’t imagine it any other way!! These two are destined for a rich life together–filled with Abby’s wonderful sense of humor + Andy’s incredible organizational skills + down-right kindness : )

Thank you, A + A, for allowing us to share in such a HUGE, exciting, long-awaited day with you!! (A little milestone for us as well–as this was our last wedding together before we officially become a husband + wife team)! ENJOY the images from their day + of course, have a lovely weekend : ) -M

The girls all got ready at Abby’s home, which I loved because it was a sweet place of significance for Abby to have all of these pictures taken!!

Aaaaand get ready for some incredible details!!

Abby wore the TOMS (above) for the reception + the stunning heels (below) for the ceremony!

Also, Abby’s mom added all the rhinestones to Abby’s shoes herself!! Just brilliant!!

Abby’s mom’s request of a shot of all the girls in the backyard by the pond before we headed to the ceremony!! : )

Andy + his groomsmen got ready at Andy’s home as well : )

It’s time!!!

LOL. I could not handle the cuteness of the ring bearer!! And I think he knew it ; )

Andy + Abby’s parents gifted them a special Bible at the ceremony.

And then Andy serenaded Abby + there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

Hello, VOSTERS!!!! : )

I couldn’t resist just a few shots at this gorgeous church!!

We did all the bridal party + bride + groom portraits at Andy’s parent’s house!!

I think this may be the best groomsmen photo I have ever taken!!!

A favorite : )

Yes, Abby!!!!!!! So good!!

This too <3

: )  : )  : )

Just beautiful!!

LOVE : )

So glad we pulled over on the side of the road on the way to the reception to get this shot along the Fox River!!

The reception was held at The Swan Club in De Pere, Wi.

(Also, Caleb nailed all these detail shots!! So proud!!)

Let the party begin!!!!

In order to get A + A to kiss, someone needed to tell a story about them .. let’s just say there was LOTS of laughter + hands to the forehead  ; )

I love this shot of you, Abby!! Basking in your day + completely enjoying those around you : )

A new all-time favorite!!

A quick little getaway : )

So. Much. Joy!!!

And then they danced the night away : )
