Happy Monday!! Today’s post is a great way to start the week–meet the beautiful, Taylor Hammer!! When she first showed up for her session, I’m not going to lie, Taylor was suuuuper nervous. I mean, a lot of people are! The thought of “posing” + being in front of the camera all by yourself for 1-2 hours can be a pretty intimidating thing!! However, like all my clients, Taylor loosened up in no time + oooohhh, am I glad she did!! This girl is strikingly beautiful + as we spent more time together during the session, I saw her confidence come out more + more–especially when she got that basketball in her hands!! She was the confident one + I had no idea what I was doing!! Hehe : P

Taylor is going to be a senior at Fox Vallery Lutheran High School in Appleton, WI (my first FVL senior, whoop whoop!!!), however she is from Weyauwega, WI! Like I kinda mentioned above, Taylor’s thing is basketball. I asked her during her session if she was “good”–and she didn’t really say much … kinda shook her head + smiled. “Okay, so are you the star or something?! Just tell me the truth, it’s okay to brag–I want to know!!” … and I got it out of her! She has started on the Varsity team at her school since she was a freshman. So, there’s that ; ) We of course had to end the session with some shots of her in her jersey to remember such an important part of this season of her life!!

Aside from basketball, Taylor loves to swim, bike, + like most high school girls, hang out with her friends : ) After graduation, she is looking at a few different colleges in Wisconsin + is thinking about majoring in something psychology-related!! She told me that the feelings of accomplishment + achievement are two of the things that make her feel alive–“finally getting something done after working so hard for it”. Amen, Taylor! I have no doubt that attitude will take you wherever you dream of going!! Thank you for letting me capture this sweet time in your life–have a GREAT senior b-ball season + many blessings to you as you take college head on!! -M
