Today’s senior session is one for the books! (well, our books anyway!!). If you follow our senior portrait work at all, you know that we shoot a LOT of senior girls!! I think it has to do with the fact that I’m a girl (obviously!!) + therefore naturally attract more female clientele!! All that being said, we have only shot two senior guys this year!! I can hardly believe it!! I do have to say, though, that both dudes were super studly + photogenic, so we really lucked out ; )!!!

Anyway, the senior guy on the blog today was an absolute treat of a session. This guy had amazing ideas for his time with us + was up for anything!! Caleb + I were able to shoot together on this session, + there were so many times when I just handed the camera to Caleb + told him to take it away!! (the two of them had some major guy moments going on + let’s face it–I just don’t have the same insight as to what looks cool or good when it comes to a guy’s perspective!!) There were Jeeps, quarries, burnouts, baseballs, + ski hills. Needless to say, I was pushed (in a VERY good way!!) creatively + we. had. a. BLAST : )

So meet, Jacob!! A senior this year at Wausau West Highschool. A lover of cars, exhaust, mechanics, + getting dirty. The first one on the ski hill every winter + one who thrives off the thrill + adventure life has to offer. Confident, easy-going, mature, + smart. So talented in all of his hobbies, but also an impressive young man in the classroom–Jacob is a member of National Honor Society as well as a Confirmation mentor at his church!! We were so impressed by Jacob + really, truly, loved our time with him!! No part of it felt like “working”–rather just a bunch of kids having fun together!! hehe : )

Jacob–may you always “keep it real” + stay true to the awesome, well-rounded person that you are!! Thanks for letting us get to know you + we wish you only the very, very best in all that is to come!!! -M+C
