Lately, we have been posting a lot about community + the importance of it (you can read the most recent post here). So today, when Maison reminded me that I was scheduled to write Friday’s blog post, I wanted to include that theme somehow … Community. I sat at the computer after finishing up some design work + my mind was completely blank. I couldn’t think of a single thing to write about! I looked around the room + at one point contemplated writing about the obscene amount of colored Sharpies Maison has. I digress.

It wasn’t until I gave up on the blog to join Maison + Vivian for the afternoon news that the brilliant idea came to me! That beautiful red + yellow box was staring right at me, + the burning desire to play it came over me like a spell.

My favorite board game. Ever. Recently Maison learned how to play + fell in love just like I did (what a turn on! :p). I have to admit that we have gotten so desperate to play that we looked up a way to play this 3-4 player game with 2 players. Needless to say, it’s not the same.

You are probably thinking, where is he going with this? I apologize for my scattered brain today! Ha! Here it is: we want to challenge you, yes YOU!, to a friendly match of Settler’s. If you’ve never played, we would love to teach you! I realize that we may not have ever met some of you, + it’s also been way too long since we have connected with some of you : (!! So let’s change that! Let’s get together in COMMUNITY + enjoy each other’s company! If you dare, challenge us to a game + get in touch!
