So, I can’t believe I’m actually sharing this post today with you! The past two weeks have been an absolute whirlwind of excitement + emotion + learning + great anticipation … and … we bought our first “home”!!! (I say “home” because it’s actually a condo so I’m not sure if I can call it that)!?! Either way, AHHHHHHH!! I cannot believe it. It’s official–we close in June + I couldn’t be more excited. I haven’t posted anything sooner because we didn’t know if the current sellers would accept our offer + all of that jazz, but now it’s official!! Much thought + prayer + planning (most of the planning + logistics by my incredible husband) have gone in to this decision + it couldn’t be more right for us at this stage in our lives.

We are SO excited to have a place that is finally ours. A place that yes, we are proud of, but that we can truly make our own. A place where we can make changes, add lots of love, + host our friends, family, + clients (we LOVE hosting!!!)! The space is just amazing + I cannot wait to share more with you as we actually move in + take on various projects to make it more + more like the home we envision for our little family : ) What an exciting ride ahead.

I knew nothing about buying a home prior to this endeavor, but am SO thankful for the wonderful people in our lives who totally know what they’re doing!! One word of advice–ALWAYS ask for help if you don’t know EXACTLY what you’re doing or talking about. There are experts for everything + when making a big decision, it is SO important to let those people in! A huge thank you to my Uncle Boyd + Kris Lacourse at Connexus Credit Union, Andrew Genin at Realty Executives Cooper Spransy, + Brandon Donkersgoed at Legacy Tax and Financial Services. These guys are AMAZING + we couldn’t have done this without their help + expertise!!

Like I said, we are SO excited to embark on this journey of being “home” owners together + we cannot wait to share it with YOU!! : )
