I am so excited about the launch we are showcasing on the blog today because it is something that is SO near + dear to our hearts. You’ve heard us talk before about this idea of Community Over Competition–how comparison truly IS the thief of joy + how “a rising tide lifts all boats” : ) How we desire, SO BADLY, to be ones who encourage + come alongside others, especially creatives, in an industry that is often riddled with negativity, competitiveness + loneliness (more on our heart behind this here).

The Rising Tide Society + Tuesdays Together

Well, thanks to two INCREDIBLE creatives living out east (Natalie Frank + Krista Jones) who had one amazing dream (to bring creatives from all over the country together in community), we are able to bring this shared vision to life right here in Madison. The Rising Tide Society was born + communities of creatives all over the country are joining the movement to BUILD one another up instead of tearing one another down.

We are SO EXCITED to announce that we will be leading this community in Madison, Wisconsin + hosting a monthly gathering for creatives (called Tuesdays Together) in which we can come together, meet, share coffee + snacks, + simply have a safe place where we know we are surrounded by people who are FOR US. Because those coming to Tuesdays Together are people who share the same mentality + same dream–community OVER competition : )

Who is this for?

So who is invited to Tuesdays Together? Anyone who considers themselves a creative, small business owner, or entrepreneur. Male, female, florist, graphic designer, pastry chef, event planner … you name it! If you desire to be a part of a community that believes in you + wants to encourage, help, + serve you in your craft, The Rising Tide Society is for you! Simply a place to connect with others, share stories + a cup of coffee, + spread positivity : )

We will be meeting on the second Tuesday of every month at a local coffee shop here in Madison. Our FIRST meet up is going to be Tuesday, June 9th at 7:00 PM at Ancora Coffee on 112 King Street. All you need to bring is yourself : ) And maybe your phone so we can do some Instagramming ; ) #tuesdaystogether #communityovercompetition … you get the idea!!
