Get ready for the most adorable couple ever on the blog today!! They are stylish, playful, + oh, so in love : ) It was six years ago that these two met at a local bar in the town where Hannah was getting her undergrad degree. She was there with her girlfriends when Jamison + his friends walked in. Ironically, that night, Jamison’s friends decided to challenge him to talk to the girl in the bar that he thought was the prettiest–he saw Hannah from across the room + just decided to go for it!!! (So brave!! I’m impressed!!!) They struck up a conversation + had a great time chatting. After seeing each other at this bar + continuing to get to know one another week after week after week, they officially started dating + here we are, six years later taking their engagement photos!!!! 

The night Jamison proposed to Hannah, he decided to take her out to dinner at a fancy restaurant in the Wisconsin Dells. When they arrived, the host asked them to check their coats, but Jamison had the ring in his pocket so he didn’t want to (obviously!!). The host insisted that he check it + Hannah was getting annoyed by his resilience, elbowing him + whispering, “Just check it!!!”–little did she know ; ) He told her to look at something in the back of the restaurant to distract her + quickly took the ring out of the pocket before finally checking that darn coat!! He was so nervous the rest of the night that he didn’t even eat a single bite of his dinner!! Good thing Hannah didn’t even notice : ) He proposed, she happily said yes, + these two are getting married this September at the gorgeous Paine Center in Oshkosh, WI!! 

For their engagement session, we began at Jamison’s family cottage on the Waupaca Chain O’ Lakes–a beautiful old lake home with tons of character–Caleb + I were in love!! It is a place that is very special to Jamison + his family, + I’m SO happy we got to do pictures here!! To finish the session, we headed to a nearby field around sunset where these two danced, frolicked (yes, I’m deeming it that!!!), + kissed beneath the summer skies <3 We had so much fun spending time with them + we absolutely cannot WAIT for their wedding in September!
