My name is Sarah Mullins, + my husband, Jeff, + I own A La Crate Vintage Rentals (www.alacraterentals.com) here in Madison, Wisconsin. We opened after our own wedding + found the process of finding, buying, cleaning,  reselling uncommon goods for our decor to be expensive + time-consuming. What should have been fun (for two people who LOVE to collect goods) was stressful during an already hectic time of our lives.

Living in a community like Madison, we thought: what better place to share these uncommon goods with others. One thing led to another + here we are today, having been in business for over four years!

One of our many goals is to provide neutral bases for you to add your personality. We’ve had the pleasure of working with Maison + Caleb over the past year, + thought it would be fun to look thru the images they have shared with us from past weddings/photoshoots, + take a closer look at how one product can take on multiple looks.

Here is a mirror tray (http://alacratevintage.com/products/mismatched-gold-mirrors), for example, + you can see how it was used to compliment floral details, highlight jewelry, function as a tray for beverages + even used as a vessel for cookies at a dessert bar!

Custom signage can be customized to a T! You simply send us your copy + inspiration a few weeks ahead of time, I work up some designs for you, + you have a chance to make changes + proof it like mad! Once we have your blessing, we create a custom stencil of your approved design.

That is one route, + another is to have your wording drawn freehand by an awesome local artist who is also a member of our team. Katie, did this example below on the white wash mirror.
