Nick + Alexi | Married | A Colorful Wedding at the River Club of Mequon.

June 24, 2015

Get ready for some MAJOR eye candy on the blog today!!! We have a beautiful couple—Alexi the Greek goddess (she literally is Greek!!) + Nick (aka James Bond according to the on-site event manager)—who married this past weekend in Mequon, WI!! I had to say something about the outward handsomeness of this couple because it was the talk of the day, but all jokes aside, the most beautiful thing about them is truly their love for one another. These two are GIDDY in love with one another + it is a shared feeling that is almost so strong you can reach out + touch it!! Quite a thing to experience first-hand, as you can probably imagine!!

It all began on the very first night of a night class at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where Nick + Alexi were both going to school. Nick sat down right next to Alexi + she told me that she immediately got all nervous because of how good-looking she thought he was!! Haha!! Nick ended up wanting to drop the class because he hated it so much, but didn’t because of a special someone who made the class a little more tolerable ; ) A friendship began, which eventually turned into dating, + nine months after they became “official”, Nick proposed to Alexi on a beach in San Diego while visiting Lexi’s family.

Everyone was together + decided to watch a home video from when they were younger in the living room. Little did Alexi realize, Nick wasn’t actually in the room. All of a sudden, a video started playing … but it wasn’t a home video. Rather, it was pictures of her + Nick together from throughout their relationship, coupled with words + memories written out from their different experiences. Towards the end of the video, he had written, “meet me where the clip ends”—on a beach : ) She ran outside + looked down to the beach, where Nick was standing at the end of a rose-petal-lined path in a heart on the sand. Tears, screams, laughter, + an unforgettable moment. Plus, her entire family was there to film it + then celebrate with them!! Such a special experience!! After meeting Nick, I have learned that he never ceases to pursue Alexi + ensure that she knows just how much he loves her. It is a truly beautiful + inspiring thing : )

I am so excited to share these images with you today—please know how HARD it was for me to narrow it down for this post!! Every photo is so lovely, which is what happens when you have such a beautiful couple + EQUALLY beautiful family + friends!! Nick + Alexi, may your love FOREVER abound + impact others the way in which it did on your wedding day. You WILL changes lives because of it!! Finally, last (but certainly) not least, GO PACKERS!!! ; ) We love you guys!!!

I love when brides get ready at the home they grew up in!! Alexi’s parent’s house was just beautiful!!!

First of all, Alexi, you are GORGEOUS!! Second of all, this was taken in her parent’s backyard!! How beautiful!?!!

The other Mason’s turn to take pictures ; )
