I can’t believe it, but this is the FIRST senior session we have done on our home turf!! Mariah actually lives in Hudson, WI (about 4 hours northwest of Madison), but she came down for a campus tour of UW-Madison with her mom + scheduled her senior session for the same day!! I met this wonderful family several years ago when I photographed Mariah’s older sister’s wedding + am so glad we have kept in touch because I got to photograph another GORGEOUS Buelow girl!!! I mean, this lady is a natural of all naturals in front of the camera + we had a BLAST together walking around + photographing on Mariah’s (hopefully!) future college campus! It’s no secret that I am a proud UW Alum + any chance I get to photograph on this campus–and talk about how great UW is–is a win in my books!!! : )

Mariah is an extremely beautiful, charismatic, mature, + successful young woman. How do I meet so many of these?! It’s SUCH an encouragement to me : ) She is an athlete (volleyball), a performer (choir + musicals), an avid movie watcher, a driven student, + a worship leader at her church. Her mom described her as disciplined, faithful, stylish, competitive, + musical : ) And I think that anyone who knows her would completely agree with all of those things!! I feel so fortunate to have met + worked with such a lovely, spunky, + kind-hearted young woman!!! AND I am SO excited about her images!!! What a blast to change things up a bit + shoot here in Madison for a senior session : ) I think you’re going to love what we came up with!! Enjoy some of my favorites from her session–again, just so hard to choose!! And Miss Mariah, all the best to you in everything God has in store for your future!
