The couple on the blog today has already created such a buzz on our social media accounts + I am not even the slightest bit surprised!! These two are dearly loved by SO many – their relationship, story, + love for one another is truly irresistible + contagious. I am just thrilled to be sharing a glimpse into their wedding day with you!! A magical day that brought together hundreds of people from around the country in celebration + worship.

Zack + Emily met during their undergrad at The University of Wisconsin-Madison, + their friendship is one that turned into a love story. Zack courted Emily for several years as both pursued their degrees, volunteered on campus with several different ministries, + while Emily spent six months overseas serving women in Thailand. At the center of their relationship + who they are is a love for + desire to serve Jesus, + they would want you to know that!! During their ceremony, several of their talented friends sang + played worship songs, + Zack’s youth pastor-now-friend spoke beautiful words about the incredible man that Zack has become + how Emily has only added to that transformation. How together they are unstoppable, FULL of love to GIVE, + seekers of justice with everything in them for those who need it. During their vows, these two promised forever to one another – through the ups + downs, no matter what – and Zack even surprised Emily with a special song that had everyone in tears. It was a powerful + emotional experience, that’s for sure!!

The day ended at the Paoli Mill + Terrace just outside of Madison – a perfect backdrop for Emily’s garden inspired celebration, floral crown + all : ) The lights glistened beneath the white tent, Zack + Emily SERVED their guests ice cream when time came for dessert (who does that on their wedding day?!?), + everyone danced beneath the garden lights + stars late into the night. 

What a true HONOR + privilege it is to know these two + to call them friends. Enjoy some of our favorites from their day + may their love + servant hood inspire all who know + witness them!!! We love, love, LOVE you, Z+E!!!!
