I have THREE senior sessions to share with you on the blog this week!! Last week was a busy week of shooting with three senior sessions + a wedding, but ’tis the season!! SO thankful to call this our job + to be doing – together- what we just love SO MUCH!!!!

Today you get to meet the spunky, caring, + beautiful Miss Mikenzy!! This girl is FULL to the brim with joy, love to give, + a little bit of sass : ) I had SO much fun spending the evening with her + both of her parents for her session – getting to know them all was such a JOY (+ on top of it, they picked out ALL the locations for Mikenzy’s pictures, making my job even THAT much more easy!!). They have the sweetest family + one of my favorite parts about senior sessions is that I usually get to meet not just the senior I’m photographing, but some of their family as well : ) When I showed up to their session, Mikenzy’s mom, Carmen, had brought a bouquet of flowers for ME (whatttt?!) to celebrate our one year anniversary!! Who does that?! She was so sweet to know that we were celebrating this in our marriage AND that I LOVE flowers!! I was SO taken aback + just so thankful for such generosity!! Thank you again, Carmen!! Also, this is SO random, but Mikenzy’s brother’s name is Maison (spelt the SAME!), + my sister’s name is McKenna, so we basically have twin sibling situations going on!! SO fun : )

Upon graduation from Waupaca High School this spring, Mikenzy is thinking about becoming a dental hygienist! She also knows that she for sure wants to work somehow, some way with special needs students as she is a Special Olympics Coach + has such a heart for students with this disability!! Helping people + making a difference in their lives is the one thing in life that makes her “come alive” the most : ) What a beautiful gift to the world you are, Mikenzy!!!
