Goodness, I am getting all emotion scrolling through the images from Zach + Lauren’s day as I prepare to share it with you today. It’s really hard to describe how quickly this couple has become so, so incredibly dear to our hearts, + just to tell in words of how beautiful of people they are. I know I talked about this in their engagement post, but I’m addressing it again because people need to know the love that these two have + GIVE.

From the very first time we ever met Zach + Lauren, we knew we wanted to be a part of their lives + their story. They just draw you in. With their love for one another, their laughter, their passion for life + adventure, + their kindness. Just so, so kind. I mean, SO kind. I cannot tell you how many emails I’ve received from Lauren, simply because she wanted to encourage me. Or tell us how excited they were to have met us + be working with us. I’m talking, like paragraphs on paragraphs on paragraphs in these emails. Heartfelt, honest, FULL of life. So full. I will forever save these emails because relationships with people like Lauren + Zach are one of the things we are most passionate about in our business. It’s all about the people <3

Okay, I’m getting off my emotional/serious kick now, + onto Zach + Lauren’s incredible wedding day, which we are sharing with you on the blog!! A cold + windy day for the beginning of October, but everything was just right + everyone was as happy as could be. Being the selfless + generous people they are, Zach + Lauren devoted their day to loving on their guests, spending time with them, + making memories. There are so many moments to share with you that help tell the story of all that took place on their day : )

The girls got ready at Lauren’s grandmother’s cabin (they call her ‘Short Stack’), which is also where we did Zach + Lauren’s engagement photos! The morning was filled with friends, laughter, + deep dish pizza : ) The two were married by Lake Kegnosa, where Lauren (+ her entire family for that matter) grew up going for summer vacations + family getaways. The ceremony was a Jewish-Catholic fusion with lots of personal touches + traditions. To finish the night, guests toasted, told stories, + danced (oh, did they dance!) at The Stoughton Country Club : ) It was an absolutely magnificent day : )

Z+L — we adore you. Love you. Are so thankful for you! I hope by now you know that : ) There are so many favorites from your day! Enjoy them : )

A very important note about Lauren’s wedding band : ) She did not thinking she was getting this wedding band, but she really wanted it. Zach surprised her with it at the ceremony, when they exchanged rings!! We just got to photograph it beforehand (+ hand to keep our lips sealed)!! Just WAIT until you see her reaction after getting the ring!! : )
