It’s always extra fun when we get to work with a couple that we share mutual friends with! I feel like it’s almost a given that we’re going to get along super well with each other + have a blast throughout our time together leading up to their wedding day. Nick + Julia are definitely one of those couples! We connected with them RIGHT off the bat + have had so much fun getting to know the incredible people that they both are!!

These two moved to Madison to work for the same company + it’s a good thing they did because said company is where Nick + Julia met. They actually worked right down the hall from one another + one afternoon, a group of people were discussing the upcoming Packer Game that weekend + how they were all going. Nick overheard that Julia was going + gave her his number, just in case they wanted to meet up at the game ; ) Sly, Nick!! Well, they did end up meeting up at the game for a beer at half time … which led to Nick missing the 3rd Quarter of the game. When he got back to his seat, his brother told him, “You better marry that girl!” Little did he know : )

Julia is from Holland, Michigan + has grown up on the water loving all things nautical (we speak the same language)!! While on a trip home to visit her family, the two decided to visit Julia’s absolute favorite lighthouse of all time. Little did she know, it wasn’t going to be just a casual trip to the bright red house at the end of the peninsula ; ) It was there Nick proposed (+ hired a photographer to capture it all for them)!! I obviously love that : )

Nick + Julia are such a good compliment to one another + as we have gotten to know them more + more, it’s so obvious that they are committed to investing in their relationship to make it as strong, deeply rooted, + love-filled as possible. They are such a great TEAM. I think we have a thing or two to learn from them about communication (maybe you guys don’t think you’re good at communicating, but you sure pull it off at least)!! Hehe : ) Laughter + playfulness surrounds them + love RADIATES from them. Enjoy our favorite images from their engagement session!! My goodness I can’t wait for their wedding in May!!
