This is, hands down, my favorite blog post of the entire year. A chance for us to show off work that yes, we are proud of, but more importantly, that showcases what we believe in. Marriage. There are so many things that we love about our job as wedding photographers … meeting + working with incredible couples who are just beginning their marriage journey … documenting their wedding days so they can experience the day + trust us to capture it so they don’t have to … late night reception dancing, styling beautiful bridal details, getting to work side-by-side with one another day in + day out …

We love ALL of these things.

But gosh, what a GREAT + significant task we are given to preserve the memories + the moments that are happening every second on one of the greatest + most life-altering days of our couples’ lives. Moments that will tell a story to children + grandchildren. Moments that will hold great weight in blessing our couples’ marriages as they experience the ups + downs of their future life together. Moments that will remind them of how they felt about one another when it was all just beginning, + of the support they have in the family + friends who were there beside them on their wedding day. As the details + the memories of the day begin to fade away, those ones we had the privilege of capturing will simply not be forgotten. Rather, they are the ones that are now preserved, + able to be held for a lifetime … and another, and another after that. 

We love marriage. And we believe in it. What an HONOR to help bless others’ marriages with our passion + our ability to preserve those precious moments for a lifetime. Here’s to another amazing year of doing what we love : )
