While in Costa Rica, I had a lot of time to think about the business + spend time reflecting on the past three years for us (don’t worry, there was no actual working involved in this!! Being away was a time to unplug!). In reflecting, I just felt so, so unbelievably thankful for everything the past few years have brought us through this business + the main thing I kept coming back to was you.

You who read our blog faithfully + follow along as we — husband + wife, wedding photographers, Chipotleaholics — journey through life together.

You who tell your friends about us when they get engaged + are looking for a wedding photographer … even though you’ve never even met us.

You who share our posts, follow along on Facebook, + comment on our Instagram pictures.

You who entrust us to capture one of the most life-changing days, + the moments in it, of your entire lives.

You who send the most loving thank you cards, encouraging emails, generous gifts, + life-giving comments.

You who have been there from the very beginning when it was all just an idea, really. You know who you are.

You who have believed in us + what we stand for. YOU have allowed us the opportunity to do what we feel truly, truly, truly so thankful to be doing. Some days we can’t even fathom it all, to be honest. It is because of you. Without your support, your referrals, your kind words, your trust in us … this would not be possible. We wouldn’t get to do this. It’s really plain + simple, yet carries such great weight for us. I mean it when I say that we thank God for you every single day.
