All we knew about them was that they were both in medical school, had crazy-busy schedules, + from what I could tell via social media, were super fit (like triathlon, marathon kind-of-fit!). We weren’t able to Skype with them before their session because of how demanding their med school schedules were, so I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect when we pulled into the UW Arboretum for their engagement session. I think it’s safe to say I was probably a little nervous, as I always am before meeting a new or potential client for the first time! 

It was a incredibly gorgeous evening (I’m talking like 80 degrees!) + we were waiting (okay, I was sunbathing a bit ; )!) for them in the parking lot of the Arboretum. When they arrived + got out of their car, they walked over to us waving + with the biggest smiles on their faces. My nerves immediately subsided + I very quickly learned that Brock + Jenny are two of the nicest, FUNNIEST, + down-to-earth people I have ever met. Their two hour session felt like 20 minutes, I swear! We laughed, told stories, + THEY just made US feel so comfortable — like we had known them for years … or were just another one of their med school classmates or something ; )

Brock + Jenny met at school + to make a long story short, he asked her out via an EMAIL. I won’t give the rest of the details (you’re welcome, Brock!), but she obviously said yes + three years later (+ a lot of fun adventures together later), these two are finally getting married! Jenny told us that for the past several months, whenever they would go out on a “fancier” date, she would playfully pat down his whole body + say, “where’s the ring!?!” HA! Lucky for him, on the day he ACTUALLY proposed, he didn’t get a pat down! They got engaged at the UW Arboretum + so having the engagement photos here was really special to them : )

Brock + Jenny, we LOVE YOU guys!! Seriously. We had SO MUCH fun with you! Let’s just get to the photos already, shall we?!! I have SO many favorites!! Enjoy — we cannot WAIT until your wedding!!!

Remember how I shared earlier that I would tell you why Brock + Jenny were laughing so hard in that previous photo? Well, see below!! ; ) We were taking their photos + these two couples came up to us + wanted a picture — “new love + old love”, they said. Apparently, old love means a whole lot of KISSING!! I debated sharing this but decided it’s too hilarious NOT to share!! Hope this brightens your day ; ) #WELOVEMARRIAGE : )
