If you read the title of today’s blog post, you’ll notice right away this is not the type of session or post you see frequently on the Maison Meredith Blog! BUT, when past clients who you not only ADORE (but would pretty much do anything to spend time with) are pregnant + ask if you’d be willing to shoot some maternity photos for them … you OF COURSE say YES!!
We love Yone + Hannah so much because their presence is truly unrivaled by anyone else we’ve ever met. I MEAN that. The joy + ENERGY that is quite literally bursting from the seams of these two is magnetic + honestly, kind of like a drug!! HA! But seriously, you just WANT to be around them whenever the opportunity arises because you know you will leave feeling full, loved, + with a positive spirit : ) I told them this during their session, but after we posted their wedding photos on the blog last fall, I had SO MANY people who I know don’t personally know Yone + Hannah reach out to me + say, “THEIR JOY! I can FEEL it in the photos! What a BEAUTIFUL couple.” … I mean, I got tons + tons + TONS of messages like that!! So I’m not the only one who thinks this! I know all of their friends + family would agree!
We met Yone + Hannah at their house for their maternity session — a place so special as it is their first home together + where they will be bringing baby girl Amuka home when she’s born : ) It was a gorgeous evening + with a lot of catching up + laughter shared : ) Hannah SERIOUSLY looked SO beautiful — if I look half as good as her when I’m pregnant some day I will chalk it up as a win!! I think it’s safe to say that these two are going to be AMAZING parents + their kiddos are SO extremely blessed to be born into such a joy-filled + loving home <3 Yone + HM — you know how we feel about you : ) Love you so stinkin’ much + so thankful for your impact in our lives!! Thanks for being world shakers <3 Enjoy some of our favorites!!
I LOVED this idea Hannah had, so I had to share! She wanted to do a photo by the tree they planted in front of their home (bottom lefthand photo) so that whenever they look back on these photos, they can see how small the tree was when they were taken + compare it to how big it’s grown over time : )
This second set was taken RIGHT next to their house — how perfect is this location at sunset?!?
Love this one : )
