Saturday was HOT. Like, so, so, SO hot!! But we made it through (okay, the groomsmen are the ones who really need a pat on the back for enduring that humidity in their suits)!!! We laughed, smiled, talked about jumping in the pool at the Golf Club, + cheered on Alex + Kayle as they committed themselves to one another as husband + wife forever. The most important part of the entire day — the reason, the why, the part to remember — they’re MARRIED : )

The two wed at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pleasant Prairie, which is a gorgeous space with cathedral ceilings + unique architecture. The feminine, flowy, pale pink bridesmaid dresses were a perfect compliment to the geometric architecture donning the inside of the church. Kayle looked STUNNING in a Allure Bridals gown that, I SWEAR!, was made specifically for her!! She could not have picked a more beautiful gown to wear for her day <3

After the ceremony, we headed the The Club at Strawberry Creek, + it was our first time shooting at this Wisconsin wedding venue! I was SO pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of this course + it’s reception space … from the rolling hills of the green (just wait until you see some of the photos we got because of the landscape!!) to the Persian rug-inspired carpeting of the ballroom paired with giant bay windows … it was absolutely stunning!!

Alex + Kayle — thank you for choosing us to be a part of your celebration … for trusting us to capture this season of your lives that will leave you forever changed … it was a JOY + an honor!!
