It’s here!! The first senior session of the summer!! As our wedding business continues to grow, we are finding ourselves with less + less time to shoot senior sessions (which is a bit of a bittersweet thing!). If you’ve been following our blog for awhile, you know that I will always try to make room in our calendar to shoot a couple of senior session every year — there is something about them that I just love + enjoy : ) I think it’s the one-on-one time I get with each senior, the creative challenge/change of pace I get with posing just one person vs. multiple, + the hope that I could somehow have a positive impact on each student’s life I get the opportunity to work with : ) Whatever it is, this year we have a just handful of these sessions on the calendar + today you get to meet our first senior of the season — McKenna!!

McKenna is from Weyauwega, a small town in the center of the state near where I actually grew up myself! She attends high school at Fox Valley Lutheran in Appleton, however, where she spends most of her time with her friends — a social butterfly : ) She is thankful for this laid-back + fun season of her life, + lives for spontaneous moments + unplanned adventures : ) I definitely got this vibe working together during her session last week, as McKenna was so easy-going + a complete natural to work with! She is comfortable in her own skin + has the most beautiful smile!! Her carefree personality made my job so, so easy! : ) Enjoy some of my favorites from her session at Willow Pond Bed + Breakfast!!
