The sweetness of the wedding on the blog today is almost too good to be true … but it’s true, SO true, + I cannot wait for you to experience the love that Carson + Alexandra share as we relive their day through some of our favorite photos in this post! This couple is a match made in Heaven — an orchestration by God that is SO clear, pure, + encouraging!! I just cannot TELL you how excited I am that these two are finally husband + wife!!

We had another INCREDIBLE weekend for a wedding + the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for Carson + Alexandra : ) It really doesn’t get much better than 70’s + partly-cloudy all day long! Caleb + I had such a fun day spending time with not only Carson + Alexandra, but also their bridal party!! Because everything went so smoothly throughout the day, we had the chance to really take our time, slow down, + even just hang around chatting + enjoying the beautiful weather with the bridal party!! These eight are such good friends + supporters of Carson + Alexandra, + it’s always SO encouraging to see a community of friends that is truly kind, selfless, + equally as excited for the bride + groom to get married as they are (okay, maybe not EQUALLY, but you get the idea ; ))!! Additionally, both sets of parents were just RADIATING with joy + pride all throughout the day at the marriage of their children. I had the chance to talk with Alexandra’s dad a bit more than the others, + it was just the sweetest hearing him talk about how wonderful of a daughter she had always been — easy to raise, such a joy to them as parents, SO compassionate, + all topped off with a million-dollar-smile : )

Carson’s reaction was PRICELESS as Alexandra came down the aisle + that same pride of such an incredible woman was shown yet again (Alexandra, you really are something special!!) : ) For photos, these two took us to a new location in Madison that we have never shot at before + we were in for the BEST surprise! Pope Farms is a GORGEOUS conservancy just five minutes from where the reception took place, + I’m convinced Caleb + I could have shot these two here for hours + hours + hours! We will definitely be back! Their portrait time was my favorite hour of the whole day : ) Carson + Alexandra had some time alone to just connect + take in the fact that they were finally HUSBAND + WIFE … and we got to photograph it … with PERFECT scenery as the backdrop! What a day : )
