The session on the blog today is an extra special one that I’m so excited to finally be sharing with you today : ) You’re going to be seeing a stunning couple who is madly in love + a lot of gorgeous locations where we had the chance to take their photos. BUT, the most amazing thing about the session on the blog today is that I grew up with the bride-to-be, Lindsey. We were literally next-door-neighbors for my entire childhood + to this day, our parents still live in those same houses, side-by-side on Timber Drive in Waupaca, Wisconsin : )
Even though Lindsey was always a few years older than me, I always felt like she was a friend because she never treated me like I was younger or an annoying little tag-a-long (at least I can’t remember her doing that! ; )). Ha! I have SO many memories from growing up with her that I’m going to take just a second in this blog post to reminisce — I definitely don’t get to do this with every couple!! Beat with me ; ) From being obsessed with the band Hanson (+ making a sign that we kept hidden under my bed for whenever we would get the chance to go to their concert — which never happened, what the heck mom + dad!?!! ;)), to catching frogs in the creek that divided our lots, the endless hours of computer games/the SIMS in their basement game room, to my first concert (which was NSYNC — again, why not Hanson I’m not sure …), to birthday parties, bike rides, tubing down the river, lemonade stands, you name it : ) We share a lot of memories together!!
Finding out that Lindsey was in a serious relationship + then meeting Eric — who happens to be one of the NICEST guys you will ever meet — has brought me SO much joy. I love seeing Lindsey so incredibly happy + if there’s one thing that I can tell you for certain, it’s that she is loved + CHERISHED by the man she is going to marry. The way he looks at her, smiles at her, holds her … it’s so beautiful + affirming that they are making the best decision of their lives in choosing marriage + committing to a partnership that will withstand the ups + downs of life, forever. I am just SO excited for them! I have no doubt there will be lots of outdoor adventures together, fun memories made with their friends, potentially a dog (in the near future … Eric?! ;)), + a lifetime of stolen glances + sweet embraces. I’m REALLY excited to introduce these two to you — so let’s get to it! : ) Enjoy some of our favorites from Eric + Lindsey’s engagement session!
