Chelsey + Charlie are another couple that I actually grew up with — kind of : ) These two are from my same hometown + I have lots of memories spending time with them from my high school years. Even though he was one grade younger than me, Charlie was in a group of guy friends that my girl friends + I spent a good amount of time hanging out with on the weekends or at sporting events during high school. Chelsey + I danced together for three years on the same team + spent A LOT of time together because of this when we were both in high school, too (I also have to give a shoutout to the fact that this girl was almost always front + center in our routines because of her skills + ridiculously high toe touch!). We joked at their engagement session that these two are going to have little gymnasts for kids because when you combine the genes of a State Champion dancer with the genes of a State Champion wrestler — it’s bound to happen, right?! 

These two have also been dating for what seems like as long as I can remember + I am SO happy that they are now on the journey of beginning their life together as husband + wife!! They have been through a lot together, including many transitional stages of life — which are hard, right!?! — and are still choosing one another day in + day out. I think that is a really great, solid foundation for their upcoming marriage!! They also come from families that have wonderful legacies of love + family values. Charlie is probably one of the most popular guys in our hometown — I mean, he knows EVERYONE + everyone loves him — he is such a great family man + a hard worker … and has the perfect amount of spunk to keep things adventurous + FUN!! Chelsey is downright beautiful, so nurturing + loving (you should see the gentle + subtle ways she cares for Charlie!), + also has her own spunk that brings zest + energy to the situations she is in + people she is around : ) They are a great team + I am really, REALLY excited for all that lies ahead for these two in their journey + love story.
