Tyler & Amanda | A Berry & Gold Inspired Private Residence Wedding in Madison, Wisconsin.

A 75 degree early fall day with partly cloudy skies + a light, cool breeze — does it get ANY better than that for an outdoor wedding day!?! What a fun celebration we had the true honor of being a part of this past weekend — I am just giddy to share it with you on the blog today!! A laid-back, detail-oriented, berry + gold inspired wedding day that will leave you grinning from ear to ear + feeling all of the good feelings, I am sure of it!!

Since Tyler + Amanda currently live in Salt Lake City, they welcomed many out of town wedding guests to Wisconsin for their celebration … and let me tell you, Wisconsin was showing off with such a gorgeous day! The venue — a private residence donning acres + acres of rolling Wisconsin hills, a beautiful lake, + wildflowers galore didn’t disappoint either! To top it off, Tyler + Amanda shared some more of Wisconsin’s best with local beer on tap + Culver’s burgers, fries, + cheese curds as a late night snack!!

At the ceremony, Amanda’s uncle (who officiated) shared with guests some answers to questions he had asked the couple separately as he was preparing for their ceremony. It was the first time either of them had heard the answers to the questions + let me tell you, there were waterworks : ) Tyler shared how one of the things he admires most about Amanda is how she can meet someone for the first time + know their life story within five minutes — she is SO good at connecting with others + making them feel loved + welcome as they are (I will second this x1,000,000 — Amanda is just such a GEM of a human being + her personality + joy is contagious … she is one of those people you just WANT to be around because she leaves you feeling better than when you came : )). Amanda shared how Tyler has grounded her, helped her to become the best version of herself, + that she admires his work ethic more than anyone else she knows (this was also alluded to by Tyler’s best man, who shared how Tyler is an incredibly hard worker + will achieve anything he puts his mind to, which has helped him to become one of the top sales representatives in the country for his given field!). Way to go, Tyler! These two are an incredible pair + they are surrounded by equally incredible people.

The entire day was a perfect blend of fun, laughter, + really intimate, intentional moments + touches. One of my favorites was right before the ceremony, when Amanda’s aunt Tia led a prayer for Amanda + some of their closest family members in the kitchen before heading down the aisle. Amanda’s family always holds hands when they pray, + they did this again at dinner during the reception … when they had ALL guests hold hands as the meal was prayed for : ) Instead of clinking the glasses for Tyler + Amanda to kiss, there was a jar off to the side of the head table where guests could put in cash to get the couple to kiss — and all the money went to two charities that are VERY near + dear to these family’s hearts. So many touching moments that we feel so thankful (SO thankful) to get to be a part of : ) Okay — let’s get to it, shall we?! Enjoy : )

While the girls got ready, Grandpa Jerry watched the Badger football game — they won ; )

Such GORGEOUS girls : ) The best part is that they’re all related + SO close with each other. I LOVED spending the day with you ladies!!!!

And then there was Wesson … and everyone’s heart melted over his ADORABLE face + equally admirable behavior!! I just love this guy!!

Amanda + Tyler did something so unique that I had to share! They each wrote a letter to the other to exchange on the morning of the wedding. Amanda’s parents read her letter to Tyler, + Tyler’s parents read his letter to Amanda. These were some pretty special + emotional moments!!

Because Tyler + Amanda find themselves most at peace + connected to God + each other when they are out fly fishing together, they had a special moment in their ceremony where they walked to the pond to have a private moment + their first cast together as husband + wife! <3
