If you’re reading this + you’re from Wisconsin, you already know that our state had a crazy week last week of record rainfall + thunderstorms!! I have never experienced SO many torrential downpours + serious lightning storms so many days in a row — it was crazy!! Because last week was Joe + Brenna’s wedding week, you can guess that they (or should I say, Joe 😉 hehe!) was really worried about the weather!! I think that he just wanted the day to be perfect for his bride + their wedding party : ) Well, Joe, you know that the worry was for nothing .. which I know I can make fun of you for now because you guys had a DRY day!! (Also, I was worrying, too, so I can’t completely call him out on this one!) ha! We had a cool, overcast fall day for Joe + Brenna’s wedding + everyone couldn’t have been happier!!

The day was a beautifully classic + traditional wedding day, which Joe + Brenna envisioned for themselves + pulled off perfectly! There were subtle touches to Joe’s ties to the outdoors, with birch trees on the invitations, woodsy florals, + birch-inspired reception decor on all of the tables, made by the bride + groom themselves!! Brenna hasn’t always been an outdoors-woman, but it was so sweet to hear during speeches how her relationship with Joe introduced her to something new + how she embraced it for him … for example, ice fishing now looks like Joe doing the fishing + Brenna reading a book by the small fire right beside him : ) They are SO sweet + just such a perfect match + example of selfless love.

Joe + Brenna are also very warm + inclusive people, + their entire day was centered around family + friends. We had so much fun spending time with their bridal party throughout they day + getting to know them + their relationships with Joe + Brenna a bit better! I know for a fact that Joe didn’t stop smiling the ENTIRE day (except when I had the groomsmen do a “serious” pose ; ) hehe!) + he was just SO happy + excited to finally be marrying his best friend. Currently, these two are driving out to the Smoky Mountains for a honeymoon of relaxation + time outdoors, enjoying the grandeur their destination will provide them! : ) Enjoy some of our favorite moments + photos from Joe + Brenna’s day — CONGRATULATIONS one last time to one of the kindest couples we have ever had the privilege of working with!!
