The post on the blog today is a celebration of NEW life — brand new life!! The mom + dad in these photos just welcomed their son, Zachary, into the world on SUNDAY!! Ahhh! It’s so exciting + crazy to think that just one week ago, baby Zachary was still in Stephanie’s stomach + she was absolutely ROCKING her beautiful baby bump!! Pregnancy is seriously such a MIRACLE + so fascinating to me — but I won’t go off on some crazy tangent right now! HA! I’m thankful to get to witness + document this incredible season for moms + dads in our lives who are so special to us!

We met these two at Atwater Park in Milwaukee for their maternity session + OH boy (see what I did there!?!), we lucked out big time with the weather!! I will say that it was a little bit chilly by the water — but not terrible! — and we had INCREDIBLE cloud coverage that I am seriously drooling over this morning! The clouds allowed for us to shoot with the water in the background + they created this whimsical, romantic, soft pastel color palette at the beach that is truly to die for! I told Caleb that I felt like we were in Florida, not Wisconsin(!), the entire time we were shooting! It was so beautiful : )

Stephanie had the undeniable momma-glow during their session + we are so happy to be able to preserve these memories + this season for them!! Thankful for a healthy baby boy that is now HERE + we cannot wait to meet him!! The love + preparation these two so thoughtfully put into the arrival of their son speaks volumes — they are going to be such wonderful parents!! Enjoy some of our favorites from their session!! XO!
