Demian & Jana | A Luxury Wedding Celebration at The Van Dusen Mansion in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Demian and Jana’s wedding day was truly a fairytale! Every last detail was planned to perfection by Jana herself, with incredible execution by the team at Blush and Whim. The shoes, the dress, the earrings (which I found out were picked out by Demian!!!) and the extraordinary floral by Munster Rose — quite literally EVERY last thing was stunning!!

Demian and Jana got married and had their reception at the exquisite Van Dusen Mansion in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. This was our first time shooting at this venue and the moment we walked up, I knew exactly why Jana chose this venue and couldn’t stop raving about it! The home and grounds are absolutely breathtaking and made for the PERFECT backdrop for the day that Demian and Jana were envisioning!!!

Jana looked unbelievable in her gown with cathedral veil and dream bouquet to complete her bridal look! She had the most amazing team on board all day and her hair and makeup were no exception to this — everything fit together seamlessly and I cannot wait to share her bridal portraits taken moments before seeing Demian!

The ballroom was styled to perfection as well — earlier in the day, before seeing the room completed, Jana told me that she was nervous to see how all the pieces that she chose fit together and she hoped everything looked good! She had absolutely nothing to worry about (which I knew would be the case!!) and the space was a masterpiece!! I loved the harvest table accents in the middle of the room — on top of such gorgeous details, these tables really brought a communal sense of gathering to the room that I loved seeing during dinner!

After all, the biggest goal that Demian and Jana had for their day was to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for their guests. They had family in from around the world and bringing their loved ones together was on the top of the priority list! These two did an incredible, incredible job at creating the day they were envisioning and we feel SO thankful to have been a part of the celebration.

During the toasts, Demian and Jana’s friends spoke about the success that follows behind this couple — but how that success and accomplishment is carried with such grace and humility. They spoke about the way these two compliment one another SO perfectly and how their story really is one of fairytale fate (you can ready about their happenstance meeting in their engagement post!). We heard about how driven and hardworking Demian is … and how much he loves and cherishes his beautiful bride. And about how loyal of a friend, how caring, and how thoughtful Jana is. All of these things we have experienced personally and are so grateful for in these two.

So Demian and Jana — thank you for having us and inviting us to celebrate the commitment the two of you have made. It was an AMAZING day, one that we will not forget!! We love you guys dearly and thank you so much for the ways in which you have loved us so well over the past year!!!
