Eric and Lindsey | A Navy and Burgundy Wedding at The Paine Art Center and Gardens in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

It feels like we have been waiting for Eric and Lindsey’s day for SO long! As I mentioned in their engagement post, I grew up RIGHT next door to Lindsey so as you can probably imagine, we have a lot of memories together!! If you would have told me when we were kids that one day I would be a wedding photographer and that I would be shooting Lindsey’s wedding, I NEVER would have believed you!! I am so happy that is how things turned out, though : ) What a special day!

All week leading up to the wedding, the forecast predicted rain and thunderstorms. It’s safe to say that almost any bride would be a little bit worried about this type of forecast for her wedding! Lindsey and her team at The Paine Art Center and Gardens prepared for rain and had a backup plan in place as we still had storms in the forecast the night before the wedding! I don’t think anyone would have predicted that we would have temperatures nearing 80 degrees and sun instead!! Lindsey was overjoyed (we all were!!!).

The day was absolutely perfect in every single way. Lindsey was one of the most breathtaking brides I have ever seen! Her dress was absolutely perfect for the garden ceremony and she was truly GLOWING the moment she stepped into it! I have never seen her look more beautiful in my entire life! There were definitely tears when her mom zipped up the dress and saw her in it for the first time as a BRIDE : ) More tears happened when Lindsey and her dad turned the corner to come down the aisle (Eric, I was right there with you!!!!).

These two are a match made in Heaven and the vows that they shared were a true reflection of that. So heartfelt, honest, tear-filled … and each threw in a little joke to help them get through their promises : ) I would agree with everyone who spoke of these two in saying that they compliment one another SO well and that seeing them together makes their love so obvious.

Lindsey — I love what you wrote to Eric in your vows. About how he pursued you and convinced you that you were enough and worthy to be loved in a time when you needed it most. Those things are 1,000% true and I am so thankful that you found a man who can make you believe them : ) Thank you BOTH, so much, for inviting us into this season of your lives, into your day, and into your love story. It has been SO much fun to walk alongside you and get to know you as a couple : ) We love you and now it’s time to enjoy some of our FAVORITES from your day!!!
