Peter and Kellian set us up for an AMAZING engagement session and I honestly can’t even pretend to take credit for how well this one turned out ; ) From starting the session with their ADORABLE pup Cholula, to wandering the streets of their picture-perfect neighborhood and ending the night at a local music festival just down the street (oh, AND Kellian’s dress!!!) — my goodness, it really doesn’t get any better and was an amazing evening!!!!!

Peter and Kellian first “officially” met at a birthday party — all I’m going to say is that there was hermit crab racing involved so Kellian will never forget the party. They don’t really remember meeting at this party … but I will come back to this ; ) Where they remember meeting is at work. They were both attracted to each other and got along well (lots of laughter and playfulness involved … I mean, the initial talking began with a Laffy Taffy joke!!!!). Kellian invited Peter to the work Christmas Party and after continuing to get to know one another better, somehow the hermit-crab-racing-birthday-party came up in conversation. Well, it turns out that the birthday party was PETER’S birthday party!! I died when I heard this story. Too cute, too hilarious, and just so perfectly THEM. These two are nothing but fun, SO down-to-earth, love to have a good time, and extremely easy to get along with. I love their banter and laughter and JOY — it is a breath of fresh air to spend time with them for sure!!!

We had a perfect evening for their engagement session and I am so thankful that these two introduced us to a part of Madison that we have totally been missing out on! Wandering through their neighborhood was a photographer’s dream — so many cute places to shoot AND such good light! It doesn’t get any better, like I mentioned before. Can you tell I loved this session?! ; ) We laughed the night away with these two and I am so thankful for our time with them!! We cannot wait for their wedding next year (Kellian is going to make the most BEAUTIFUL bride!!!) and I know the joy these two already have will only be multiplied as they are surrounded by those they love most on their wedding day!
