Oh, this wedding!! There is so much goodness to share with you today!! Wade and Jenny got married at the most beautiful venue, The John Michael Kohler Arts Center in downtown Sheboygan, and we have been looking forward to shooting here for SO long! It is such a unique and breath-taking space — especially the Sculpture Garden where the ceremony took place!! Just wait until you see it : ) The bathrooms are also SUPER cool but you will just have to go to the space to see those for yourself ; )

There was a chance of rain all day long for Wade and Jenny’s day and the joke with their friend group is that, so far, it has rained on everyone’s wedding day so it must be a “thing” for them and it also must be really good luck!! Well, Wade and Jenny’s day did not disrupt the rainy wedding day tradition, however, it was the best-case scenario as it rained at ALL the right times!! It stopped raining for the portrait time (and the storm clouds made for some SUPER cool photos!!) but the second we got back in the bus to head back to the venue, it started raining!! Then it stopped raining again when it was time for Wade and Jenny’s outdoor ceremony … and started raining again the second the ceremony was over. It really was pretty crazy and we were all smiles as the day went on.

The reception was filled with amazing food, Wisconsin’s famous brandy old fashioned’s, incredible company and some pretty hilarious speeches ; ) I would expect nothing less from a couple who gives so much to others and makes their friends and family (and photographers! ; )) feel so darn special. I hope you felt as loved and celebrated as you truly are, Wade and Jenny!! You are a pretty amazing pair and we — along with everyone who knows you — feel SO lucky and blessed TO know you!!!

From the gown (oh, the gown!!) to the sentimental stop for photos at Bookworm Gardens where the couple got engaged and Jenny’s family has invested a lot of time and resources over the years — Wade and Jenny’s day was so incredibly special. I thank God everyday for bringing couples like them into our lives and for allowing us to witness such beautiful and uplifting moments so frequently in this life He has called us to. It really is a gift. Enjoy some of our favorites and may these images bring great joy to you today as they do to us!!
