Adam and Jenny | A Sunset Engagement Session at Lakeshore Park and a Private Sailboat in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

A (ridiculously) cute puppy AND a sailboat at sunset?!! What more could you ask for in an engagement session!?! We had an absolute blast with Adam and Jenny in Milwaukee last week and I am super excited to share their images with you on the blog today! : ) We met these two at the Art Museum downtown (side note, they literally walked to their engagement session because they live so close to this iconic landmark in Milwaukee!) and snapped a few photos there before heading to the nearby Lakeshore Park for photos with their pup, Finn, and then on their amazing sailboat parked on the dock in the harbor!! It was quite the session : )

Adam bought the sailboat last year from a neighbor and quickly learned after having it out that it was a bit of a “famous” sailboat around the sailing community in Milwaukee! Everyone who saw him with it asked him if it was the boat they thought it was and he would tell them, “yes!” The catch is that when he bought the boat, it was red and now it is lime green and black : ) Adam did an AMAZING job repainting the boat and I am SO impressed with all his hard work after learning more about all that went into the job (think many, MANY hours of sanding). It was so fun to shoot some engagement photos on this boat that already is so special to these two and will continue to help them create many memories together : )

Our time with Adam and Jenny was so much fun — just as I thought it would be. When Jenny first emailed, she mentioned that she has been following our business for a long time (like since before her and Adam even met!!) and she was so excited to finally be emailing for her own wedding day : ) I am SO thankful for people like her and for moments like this because as a creative business owner, sometimes it can be easy to doubt yourself or wonder if people will continue to book you, follow along, etc. and then someone like Jenny comes along and brings SO much love and encouragement (you rock, lady!!). These two are the sweetest pair, truly such a great team and compliment to one another : ) We feel BEYOND thankful to be working with them in this season of their lives and cannot WAIT for their wedding this coming July!!! Love you guys!!!!
