John & Marissa | A Classic Wedding Celebration at The Lageret in Stoughton, Wisconsin.

We have had quite the journey with John & Marissa and I am SO EXCITED that today we are finally sharing their WEDDING photos with you! Two winters ago, when we launched our new website, John and Marissa won the Your Love Story, Styled Session Giveaway that we did with our launch! This is when we first met them last summer and did their photos for the giveaway!!

After meeting and working with John & Marissa for that first session, they decided to book us for their wedding day and we were over the moon! These two are a DREAM to work with — from the inside out. Obviously such a handsome couple but even better, as kind as they come : ) We did their official engagement session last July, complete with the WHOLE family! We had such a beautiful night together and spending more time with these two made us even that much more excited to be a part of their wedding day!

And then last Saturday officially came! We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for a wedding — partly cloudy and mid 70’s for a temperature! It was by FAR the most beautiful wedding-day weather of the entire summer so far! John and Marissa got married at The Lageret in downtown Stoughton and it was amazing to see Marissa’s vision come to life! Floral by Daffodil Parker, coordination by Cherry Blossom Events, exquisite stationery and signage by Mint & Lovely, and the best dance party hosted by Celebrations Entertainment! It was quite the day : )

Marissa looked absolutely breathtaking in her gown and the moment she put it on, one of her bridesmaids said, “It’s like you were born to be a bride!” She truly did take my breath away and I think John would say the same thing : ) There were definitely tears shed as the two exchanged their vows in front of their closest family and friends. John and Marissa — thank you, thank you, for inviting us into your lives and for sharing SO much of yourselves with us!! We have LOVED getting to know the two of you and your family … and absolutely cannot wait to see what the upcoming years have in store for you as you embark on this new season together! We love you so much and hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your day!!!
