We have been dying to shoot a wedding at The Wisconsin Club in downtown Milwaukee for a couple of years so when Andy & Danielle booked us for their day last summer, we were extra excited! The space did not disappoint and they had the most gorgeous reception at the historic club with 250 of their closest family and friends. Incredible food, gorgeous floral by Jane Kelly, and an awesome dance party hosted by Sound by Design made for an unforgettable evening celebrating Andy and Danielle!

We knew we would love the Wisconsin Club but what we didn’t know was how gorgeous Old Saint Mary’s Church would be! On the way to the ceremony, Andy’s mom shared with me that it is the oldest Catholic Church in Wisconsin! I had no idea! The history of the chapel and intricacy of the detail that went into building the church was incredible. Andy and Danielle had a beautiful ceremony with a packed church and a homily by one of the most engaging, sincere, and hilarious priests I have ever heard : )

Danielle looked just breathtaking in her gown. It was perfect for both her personal style and their wedding day — simple yet classy. It fit her like a glove and I really do believe that the simplicity of the gown, as well as its bright white color, just highlighted her smile that I love SO much! Her joy is contagious and her smile truly lights up a room. During his toast, Danielle’s dad described how she is someone who can make anyone feel special and can make a stranger feel like her best friend within minutes. What amazing qualities and something I, myself, have seen glimpses of in Danielle.

In the interactions I have had with Andy, I have learned that he is a man of great loyalty to the ones he loves, smart, driven, and curious. On the day, I got to see Andy interact with his grandparents for the first time and it literally made my heart melt. His face lights up SO bright when anyone even mentions their name and when he is with them, it is undeniable how much they mean to him. It was really special to witness : )

We took photos in between the ceremony at the Joan of Arc Chapel on the Marquette University campus where Andy and Danielle first met! It’s a beautiful little chapel in the heart of campus surrounded by several little gardens! I’m so excited to share some of my favorite moments and memories from Andy and Danielle’s wedding with you today so without further adieu, enjoy!!
