Robert & Alicia | A Scenic Engagement Session at Natural Bridge State Park and Private Residence in North Freedom, Wisconsin.

As I was reflecting back on our session with these two last week, I kept thinking to myself, “I wish everyone could spend an evening with these two!” We had SO much fun getting to know Robert and Alicia and our time with them left me feeling so energized. They are both just so down-to-earth, easy to talk to, welcoming, interesting, engaging, and fun. They have been together since the end of their high school years and so their relationship is one that is comfortable and familiar. Because of this, I really felt like they were able to show their true personalities throughout the session (and share them with us!) which is what made our night together such a blast. We really are incredibly lucky that we get to meet so many amazing couples each year and Robert and Alicia were no exception!!

We met at Natural Bridge State Park which is just down the road from Alicia’s family’s property. Caleb and I love exploring new state parks and we had not been to this one yet so the location was an extra special treat for us! The day was a bit gloomy and overcast but there were no complaints by me because I am convinced that gloomy-ness makes forests and foliage look really magical! Coupled with Alicia’s floor0length gown and Robert’s suit and bowtie and I was in heaven! They looked so good and the backdrop was amazing!!

For a second location, we headed just down the road to the family property where Alicia’s grandfather’s (absolutely pristine!) vintage Chevy truck was waiting for us!! This was such a fun and unique addition to their session that I’m so glad they made happen! The family property was just STUNNING and like I shared in my Instagram post sneak peek of these two, Wisconsin was really showing off for us during their session! Again, Alicia nailed it with her mustard yellow dress against the green backdrop and red Chevy truck — just wait until you see these pics! ENJOY!
