We just might have gotten the last bit of fall color for Adam and Sarah’s engagement session last week! It has been such a crazy fall with all of the rain and windy/stormy weather! It feels like the color only lasted a week or two … max! Thank goodness for clients who are determined to find the last of it! Adam drove to several of the places we recommended the day before their session to figure out which one had the most color left! Yahara Place Park was the winner! Even better, though, is that the park neighbors a house that Adam lived in for several years. Not only was the location pretty but it also had special meaning for him!! Win-win!!
Despite busy work and travel schedules, we were able to make this session happen and I am SO glad we did! Adam & Sarah looked so wonderful, the location was showing off, and we had SUCH a blast getting to know them a little bit better! Spending time with them, it became obvious quick that they are such good friends … the best foundation to build a marriage on : ) They just “get” each other and are such a perfect pair. They are kind, gentle, thoughtful, and their presence just brings a sense of “calm” that I, personally, really appreciate : )
I wanted to finish by sharing a quick story that I think sums up our experience with Adam and Sarah so well : ) We had just ended their amazing session and were walking back to the car. We hugged them and I asked if they were going to dinner afterwards or doing anything special. Adam said, “We might have to, we are so dressed up!” to which Sarah replied, “Well we do have to because I already made us reservations.” Then she gave him the sweetest look and my heart just melted : )
We love these two and cannot wait to capture their wedding day next June at The Lageret! Until then, enjoy some of our favorites from their beautiful fall engagement session at Yahara Place Park! ENJOY!
