Adam & Sarah’s day convinced me of two things:

1. They might just be the nicest people on the planet.

2. We are seriously lucking out with no rain so far this season!

It’s pretty amazing when you leave a wedding day with such a HIGH. Wedding days are long and involve lots of brain and physical power! They are go-go-go. It’s quite normal to feel exhausted once you finally stop moving at the end of the night! While yes, we were exhausted at the end of last Saturday, I specifically remember pulling out of the parking lot to drive home and looking at Caleb and saying, “Today was AMAZING.” He completely agreed : )

Adam & Sarah are the kindest, most down-to-earth pair you will ever meet. Their day truly reflected who they are as individuals and as a couple — focused on others, super intentional with every detail, calm, peaceful, organized and full of joy : ) Because of the prediction of severe thunderstorms, we decided the morning of to rearrange the day so that we could do photos outside in the little window it was looking like we were going to have. This is HARD to pull of as there are so many moving parts and people involved on a wedding day but thanks to Sarah’s organization, we did it! We dodged the rain, got the outdoor photos Adam & Sarah were dreaming of, and everything was just so … CALM and FUN! It was no surprise to us that Adam & Sarah’s bridal party was just as delightful to be around as they are : ) We truly had a blast!

The part about Adam & Sarah’s day that sticks out the most to me is their ceremony. The elements included in were so thoughtful and unique. For example, the officiant (Sarah’s uncle) had everyone hold the hand of a loved one at one point during the ceremony and he talked about the importance of human connection and relationship. It felt like such a powerful moment! After the ceremony, I mentioned to Sarah how much I enjoyed it and she told me that her and Adam wrote the whole thing themselves : ) Of course they did! It made such perfect sense.
