Today’s post features a LOT of yellow, bundles + bundles of flowers, + a beautiful bride (Kimberly) who is on the verge of getting married in just over 40 days!!

I was so excited when Kim’s mom, Cindy, emailed me about taking pictures at the bridal shower she was hosting for her daughter (the pictures were a surprise, by the way!!). I feel like I have known Cindy for a long time (even though we never actually met until the shower!!) because Caleb is good friends with her son + we have connected over Facebook several times. Plus, Cindy just has that presence about her–she makes you feel so loved + cared for, even over social media!! So finally getting to hug her on the morning of the shower was definitely a treat for me : )

It was obvious there was a lot of LOVE + planning that went into this shower; everything was hand-crafted + thought out with Kim in mind. The theme of the shower was “He loves me, He loves me not”, obviously ending on the “He LOVES me” flower petal!! The room (at the Grand Lodge in Wausau, WI) was filled with people who were genuinely SO excited for Kim + the life that lies ahead for her + fiancé, Jeremy. It was actually super special to just kind of stand in the background, take pictures + observe the interactions between family + friends who had come from all over to CELEBRATE the bride-to-be : )

Miss Kim–I wish you + Jeremy the best on your wedding day, but more importantly, in your marriage! May God bless you both tremendously!! Thanks for letting me celebrate ith you : ) -M

Do you notice what it says on the Oreo in the middle picture?! They didn’t even plan this!! SUCH an awesome coincidence!!

For one of the games, people were told to pick a petal off the huge homemade daisy in the room + if the petal said “He LOVES me” on the back, you win a prize!

Kim + her beautiful bridal party : ) She made these bags for the bridesmaids–each one colored to match the girl!

Such intricate detailing on the cake!! Almost too pretty to eat! Almost … ; ) Momma Cindy, Bride Kim, + Maid of Honor Lindsay.

Dad stayed just in time for me to snap one picture of him + the bride!! ; ) There was a table set up with all kinds of crafts for people to do during the shower; one was for each person to create a scrapbook page for Kim + Jeremy to have + look at during their first year of marriage.

Love this shot with both of Kim’s grandmas : ) This will be such a special memory!
