And … it’s your favorite post of the year!!
Are you guys ready for this?
Let’s do it!
You know this is one of my FAVORITE posts to brag on (*make fun of?*) Caleb ; )
Really, Maison?
But babe, your one-eye game was so strong this year!
And you are just soooooooo cute!
Are you done yet?
Not even close! I have to actually brag on you : ) Thank you — from the bottom of my heart, and our couples’ hearts, for all you do for us! You really are the BEST <3
From veil-fluffing…
… to bridal party organizing …
(even in the rain!)
… fixing hair …
… clothes …
… and wedding dresses!!
You can prep wedding dresses …
… help prep for family photos …
… and you’re the best “test shot” subject in the whole wide world!
You’re also really good at testing the coffee ; )
Sometimes our brides even like getting in on the test-shot-action!!
Thank you for carrying ALL the thing (including babies and dogs!) <3
Oh, and that HUGE (but amazingly helpful) diffuser!
You rock (and are so ridiculously handsome)!
Me, on the other hand … not sure how that happened. #marriedup
Sure did.
At least I can handle an entire bridal party of football players. Just gotta use those football-esque poses, am I right?! ; )
I also have some pretty sweet dance moves.
Anything to make the client laugh!
The truth is, I feel SO thankful for the opportunity to do what we do. So thankful. Our clients let us into some of the most SPECIAL moments of their entire lives and getting to serve them in this way is truly such an honor!!
… Even if it looks like this …
… or this …
… or goodness gracious, this.
One time, we shot a wedding and these were the two establishments across the street from the church (literally, they were right next to each other) — it’s just too good not to share!! #samenamedifferentmeaning
One time, this adorable woman (and her dog) made the best photobomb ever during bridal party portraits!
One time, I got to wear the veil during bridal party portraits!! #dontask
One time, moments before shooting a proposal, this cute little girl decided to play on the beach RIGHT where said proposal was supposed to happen. *Cue nonchalantly acting like someone taking a stroll on the beach (in tennis shoes!??!!) and asking her to move*
Another time, we randomly ran into my sister’s boyfriend while shooting a wedding!
And one time, our clients gave us a super special gift that meant SO much to us, I was in tears. Wade’s dad is a woodworker and my dad is a logbuyer — so both dudes who work with and know wood like the back of their hand. For their wedding, Wade and Jenny gave us a serving bowl that Wade’s dad made for us. What these two didn’t realize was that a few days after their wedding, my dad was going into surgery for a VERY scary procedure. Getting this gift … I took it as a sign from God that everything was going to be okay, no matter what the outcome was of my dad’s surgery. A few days later, when everything went as best as it possibly could have for my dad’s surgery, I thought back to the promise I felt in that little bowl and, to this day, I still think about that sweet moment every time we use it!
We honestly work with the greatest people on the planet <3
They put up with my apparent lack of awareness of personal space …
… and my love for crawling on the ground?
Umm, Caleb — is there a method to her madness?
Don’t answer, Caleb.
Okay, babe ; )
From bridal parties …
… to family photos …
(a liiiittttlllee closer guys)
… to ceremonies …
… and cocktail hours.
