Justin + Emily contacted us just under 2 months ago about shooting their wedding this July; July 4th to be exact. Can you say, YES!? Caleb + I love the 4th of July, + shooting a wedding on this awesome holiday has been something we’ve definitely been wanting to do!! These lovebirds came into our lives at the perfect time : )

Justin + Emily met while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (yes, another couple coming out of that amazing place!! ; )) + got engaged this past April while vacationing in Puerto Rico. Justin actually proposed while they were scuba diving … UNDERWATER!! Is that a proposal or what?!!! He is definitely a planner + thinks things through with great care + precision, + I have loved that about him as I’ve gotten to know this couple more + more!! Actually, I’ll admit that Justin chose all the sites for our session together + man oh man did he do a GREAT job!! You’ll see what I’m talking about in a second : )

From Puerto Rico to Madison + then to Hawaii for their honeymoon + Alaska for a family vacation after that, these two have traveled + shared their love with all those they’ve encountered (be ready Hawaii + Alaska, this awesome duo is coming for you soon!!). I cannot believe their big day is exactly two weeks away!! We cannot wait to celebrate with you, J + E!!
