Last time this little peanut was on the blog was for her 3-month session in the fall–and now Harper is ONE!! I cannot believe how fast this precious girl is growing. It truly seems like just last week I was showing up at Joe + Emily’s apartment for her newborn session: J+E were brand new parents + Harper did NOT want to have her picture taken. Needless to say, Harper has grown into such a beautiful little girl + her smile was an absolute joy to photograph!! It’s amazing the difference a year can make in the ease of photographing a child ; ) 

Joe + Emily recently moved to Fond Du Lac for the next 6 months for a co-op Joe is working on while getting his Masters at UW-Madison. We met at their new (+ adorable!!) apartment where I got some absolutely sweet shots of momma + daughter as we waited for Joe to get changed for the session (he got home from work the same time I arrived!!). I’m really thankful we had a few minutes because these shots of Emily + Harper together are some of my favorite from the session : )

We then headed to the beautiful Lakeside Park in Fond Du Lac which lines Lake Winnebago + is just filled with fountains, bridges, trees, lighthouses … I mean, you name it!! It was a lovely afternoon + as we walked I learned that Harper has discovered her love for swimming, making funny faces, + throws in the air with dad : ) After what was a VERY demanding last semester of school for Joe, I am so thankful these three have the summer to spend so much time together. They really are such an amazing bunch : ) 

J+E–thank you for your love + friendship (+ for the dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings!). I thank God that He gave Harper such amazing, crazy (yes, you two are something else!), dedicated + loving parents. She is one lucky girl : )
