Kurt + Liz | Waupaca, WI Wedding | No Other.

July 21, 2014

In all the world there is no heart for me like yours. In all the world there is no love for you like mine. -Maya Angelou

The wedding on the blog today is one filled with little feet, Chain O’ Lakes waves, + many joyful tears : ) Kurt + Liz’s day was so special, so unique, + oh, SO lovely. In my opinion, the above quote perfectly describes the love shared between Kurt + Liz–one so strong that you can not only see it just by looking at them, but FEEL it whenever you are around them. From the moment I first met these two, I was inspired + filled by their love for each other. They ARE truly meant to be together.

However (as I wrote about in their engagement session post) their story is even that much more deep + beautiful because their love for one another extends further than just each other but also to their children–Hunter, Siera, + Will. The way this family interacts around one another will make you quite literally stop whatever you’re doing to just watch them interact. For example, each time they hug one another is a squeeze so tight you would think it was the last time they were ever going to see each other. A real, powerful transfer of love.

Their celebration was an intimate one, filled with their closest friends + family. Kurt + Liz got married on the Chief of Waupaca which is an authentic double-decker sternwheeler!! We cruised the Waupaca Chain O’ Lakes until stopping for the ceremony on Sunset Lake, where the sun made its only appearance on the overcast day : ) There was a beautiful message, lots of tears, a very happy “you-may-now-kiss-your-bride”, + endless celebratory hugs + kisses. The reception to follow was at the Clearwater Harbor Boathouse where guests enjoyed a lovely summer night of dining on the water!!! (Yes, it was an absolutely perfect day : ))!! And just when I thought their day literally could not get ANY more perfect, Kurt + Liz danced their first dance to Hunter Hayes “Wanted”, which is a very special song to Caleb + I as well : ) We were ALL in tears!! My heart could not have been more full : )

Kurt, Liz, Hunter, Siera + Will–we are so thrilled for the marriage of your family. We truly ADORE you guys + feel blessed beyond words to have been a part of your story + journey. Thank you : ) All our love to you five!!! And to our readers today–enjoy this most beautiful, special day. -M
