A couple of weeks ago, Caleb + I had a day with nothing on the calendar (!!!!!!!!). We are truly in the heart of our slow season right now + I couldn’t be enjoying the time more. The majority of our off-season projects are completed + wedding season starts for us mid-April, so slower days are a little more frequent lately, + are being used to really recharge + spend time just being … together : )

One of our favorite things to do together is to go “antiquing”! We love looking at all of the old treasures + occasionally buying things to add to our own home! Recently a friend told us about a vintage “market” of sorts in Beloit, Wisconsin, which is about an hour away from where we live in Madison. Since we had a whole day with nothing on the calendar, we knew we had to take advantage of it + go see what all the hype was about in Beloit!!

Oh my goodness, we were NOT disappointed. This little market is called Vintage Bliss + I fell in love the moment I walked in! One of my favorite parts about antique stores is when you can tell that the vendor actually took time to style their booth — I swear it makes me 10x more likely to buy something from that booth! Well, at Vintage Bliss, EVERY booth is styled. SO CUTE. Which gives you tons of great ideas for how to incorporate antiques into your home decor! We had a blast looking at everything : )

We only walked away with one small purchase, but that’s a great day in my books! ; ) To us, it’s just as fun looking at things, getting ideas, + simply spending time together <3 Cheers to all the other “antiquers” out there!! Happy Tuesday!! : )

 

So, we actually began the day by getting our library cards … Caleb found out that you can rent books from the library for your KINDLE, + we were SOLD. Free reading, you guys!!

I love that they had these measuring tapes hanging around the store for if you wanted to potentially buy a bigger piece for your home — such a great customer service detail!!

This booth was actually designed by one of my friend’s mom!

My purchase for our office remodel (which is still waiting to be revealed!) 6 is my favorite number : )
