The wedding on the blog today did not go as I expected … in the BEST way possible!! Early Saturday morning, the forecast predicted storms ALL day long, including the highest percentage chance of rain + lightning + thunder RIGHT when Josh + Allie’s outdoor ceremony was supposed to start — YIKES! I’m going to be honest, I was super worried!! I wanted them to have a beautiful day for the outdoor celebration they had been planning for months + months, + I feared that things just weren’t going to work out to make that happen! I am SO happy that my worry was in vain + the day didn’t go as I expected because it DIDN’T rain. At all. Not even once!! In fact, the sun came out, Josh + Allie got married under the arbor, + guests enjoyed a lovely evening eating, drinking, + playing lawn games under a beautiful dry sky : ) It was such a wonderful celebration for Josh + Allie, + we are so happy that they got the day of their dreams!

Before their first look early that afternoon, Caleb told me that Josh was just SO excited to see Allie! The happiness + anticipation of seeing his bride was justradiating from him! How sweet is that?! It was so clear during their first look when it seemed as if his breath had been taken away + he just couldn’t stop smiling + looking SO lovingly at his soon-to-be wife!! He kept telling her how beautiful she looked + making the sweetest comments about her hair, her dress, how stunning she looked in her poses … you name it! His adoration coupled with Allie’s contagious giggle is enough to make any heart melt right on the spot! They truly are a match made in heaven (to quote Allie’s Maid of Honor, Kate) + many years of dating, schooling, + working have brought them to this monumental point in their relationship.

Family + friends came from all over the country to celebrate with these two — and the day was FILLED to the brim with love + support for Josh + Allie! They had SO much family in attendance + I think that in itself just speaks volumes about these two. They are loyal, family-oriented, hardworking, + FUN people — both individually + as a couple! Ahhh, I just smile thinking about both of their smiles (especially when they’re looking at each other!) because they truly reflect who Josh + Allie are at the core : ) Enjoy some of our favorites from their day + congratulations one last time to Mr. + Mrs. Schulta!!!
