Peter & Kellian | A Colorful Wedding Celebration at The Lageret in Stoughton, Wisconsin.

#HappyDay4PandK — I couldn’t think of a better hashtag for these two, their love, and their wedding day celebration! Peter and Kellian are two of the most outgoing, energetic, driven, and joyful people I have ever met. They love to have fun, they are so good at bringing people together, and they sure know how to throw a party! Their day, planned by the extremely talented Elevate Events, was a perfect reflection of their personality and love.

You will quickly see that Peter and Kellian’s day was unique compared to many others in that it was full of COLOR!! As I was photographing all of the details, I couldn’t help but smile because I literally did feel so HAPPY! I turned to one of the planners and said, “I wish more wedding days had this much color!!” It was such a fun change and truly lent such a celebratory feel as the backdrop to such a fun day!!

I also can’t not comment on Kellian’s dress! The floral embroidered corset top fit her so perfectly (both her figure AND her personality!) and also gave a nod to her mother’s embroidered Norwegian wedding dress that Kellian actually wore the night before for her rehearsal dinner! Coupled with the absolutely breathtaking flowers by Flora by Jamae, Kellian (and her bridesmaids!) were just radiant <3 I had so much fun photographing them!

The night ended with a pretty epic dance party (glow sticks and all!) and after a crazy hot day, we got the most wild summer thunderstorm! As Kellian said, good luck for the future! : ) Peter and Kellian, thank you for choosing us to document your beautiful, FUN, life-giving, extraordinary day. Kellian owns The Barre Code, a beautiful fitness studio in downtown Madison. How fitting for them to do their first look together outside the studio, with the bridal party watching from the windows : )
