You are about to meet an incredible “power couple.” Everyone probably has their own definitions of what that term means, but I am calling Joe and Lindsey a power couple because individually they are both wildly charismatic, successful, stylish, warm and welcoming, and intelligent. Put them together and you have all those traits (and let’s be honest, a million more!) DOUBLED. Their joy and energy is absolutely infectious!!
Joe & Lindsey live in Milwaukee and they both LOVE their city, so we explored some of their favorite spots for their engagement session last weekend! It was so fun to go to each place and learn more about it and why it means so much to them! We began at the Art Museum (which happened to have its wings open during their session!! *heart eyes*) and we really lucked out — because the weather was looking a little unpredictable, there just weren’t a lot of people out and about! Lindsey was STUNNING in her blue velvet gown and Joe looked as handsome as ever in his custom suit!
Next, we went to their “neighborhood” which was fun because I go to see where they live! It’s right on the river and in such a beautiful and fun part of the city! They love living there because it’s close to everything and they can easily walk to go get dinner or a drink any night of the week – I love that : ) RIGHT next to their condo is the famous Marsupial Bridge in Milwaukee and then another cool lookout and architectural structure so we did photos in both! It was during this part of the engagement session that I really feel like I got to see their head-over-heels love for each other : ) I don’t really know how to describe it other than they were being so cute and cuddly and just couldn’t get enough of each other!!! It made my job super easy!!
To end the session, we headed to the beach where they first met years ago in a volleyball league. They both saw each other for the first time and were immediately interested … “WHO is that person?!” : ) Before they knew it, they were on a first date where Joe cooked Lindsey an authentic Thai dinner and they talked for six hours over a bottle (or two!) of wine. The rest is HISTORY and gosh, we’re so thankful to be a small part of their beautiful story! I cannot wait to share these two and their session with you so let’s do it!! ENJOY!!!
