August has been a really great month for us, both personally and professionally. Personally, we were able to spend quite a bit of time with family this month, as well as enjoy more socially-distanced walks and get-togethers with a few friends. It has been SO GOOD for our mental and emotional health : ) Additionally, we were able to share our very secret and very big news with all of you!

Professionally, we photographed three absolutely beautiful weddings in August, as well as a handful of portrait sessions including several family sessions and one senior session for a very special family in my life : ) The fall is going to be extremely busy … which is definitely welcomed! We have been thoroughly enjoying the slower pace of this year’s “busy” season and have been especially mindful to notice and enjoy it. It was also a major blessing-in-disguise for that first trimester sickness ; ) All that to say, I am looking forward to a more full schedule for the upcoming two months! There will be a lot of new photos to share on the blog and I can’t wait!

In August, we were able to donate $270 to these two organizations serving on the frontlines for those most affected by COVID here in our local community: Middleton Outreach Ministry and REAP Food Group’s ‘Farm to Families’ Fund. Thank you to these organizations for ALL they have done and continue to do, and thank you to our incredible clients for being a part of this year’s special giving. We love you!
