Let's go back to where it all began
I really thought I knew what love was...
Then, my daughter was born.
We got married, traveled the world together, and built a beloved business in which I spent 12 years photographing what was, at the time, one of my life’s greatest passions: marriage.
alling in love with my husband was one of the most magical seasons of my life.
She was someone we had hoped, prayed, and waited so very long for. When she finally arrived — when I became a mom and when together, we became parents — my understanding of love exploded and many things in my life began to shift. Most notably, I started to notice that my deepest desires were evolving.
Now, nothing mattered more to me than my growing family. And as a photographer who had the privilege of spending the entirety of my career up until that point documenting my passion, I knew it was time for my career to evolve alongside me so that I could continue on this beautiful journey.
Helping families meaningfully preserve their story could not resonate more deeply with me as both a mom, and an artist. I feel truly lucky to live out such a purposeful calling, and to be along for life’s ride with so many extraordinary people.
Photography is such a gift in this way, giving us these tangible reminders.
Your photos will document the fleeting stages of childhood — how their little legs wrapped tightly around your waist, or how the back of their head cradled perfectly in the palm of your hand. Moments in time that, without photographs, would almost certainly be forgotten. They will help to one day show your children the love you shared in a season of life that isn't easily remembered.

I wholeheartedly believe in serving not only my clients, but those in my community with love, generosity, and compassion. One way I do so is by donating a percentage of profit to The Boys & Girl's Club of Dane County each year. Their mission, "to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring adults," moves me as both an entrepreneur and as a mother.
