Well, it’s the first senior session of the season on the blog today!! And I couldn’t think of a better lady to get things rolling : ) Courtney is actually a senior THIS year (graduated as of this past January to be exact!!!) + getting ready to enter the next season of her life. She is beginning a job at Wells Fargo this week (!!!) with plans to go to college to get a business degree + eventually end up as a banker in the beautiful Colorado.

Every year we take a trip out to Colorado. We do a LOT of hiking there. I come alive when I’m up on the mountain top, specifically Sky Pond, gazing at miles of untouched nature. I come alive when I realize that there’s more to this world than what’s let on.

I really hope this girl gets out west–and fast : ) Aside from hiking + being outdoors, Courtney loves to weld, shoot bow, + spend time with her family, boyfriend + dog, Finley, who you will be meeting later on : ) I’m telling you, this girl is wise beyond her years … just so polite, mature, authentic, + down-to-earth. Not to mention a total beauty : )

Thanks for such an AMAZING first session, Courtney, + for reminding me why I love photographing young women–full of dreams, passion + life!! You are in such a sweet season, my dear!
